Refusing to follow-through with a successful bid
Buyers automatically enter into a legally binding contract to purchase a domain from the seller if their bid is accepted by the seller or if they accept a seller's offer to sell. Bids placed in our daily auctions are also legally binding. Give careful consideration when making or accepting offers or placing bids at auction.
DomainBrokerage.co.uk requires buyers to pay for the domains that they have committed to purchase.
Buyers who refuse to follow through with domain offers that have been accepted by the seller or winning auction bids are potentially liable to the seller for breach
of the sales contract to which both are parties. We reserve the right to cancel any transaction where a buyer has failed to respond to an offer being accepted within 10 days of the offer being accepted.
Payment for a domain name is due within 10 (ten) days from the date that the invoice is issued. We reserve the right to cancel any transactions where the payment has not been made and received within this time frame.
Auction errors
We reserve the right to re-run auctions or extend the running time in the event of software or hardware failures or issues. Example issues include but not limited to, the inability to access the auction site and the inability to place bids.
Auction proxy bidding
When proxy bidding is used it may appear as if one bidder has outbid another with the exact same amount. In this situation the person who entered the earlier proxy bid takes priority and is deemed the current highest bidder.
Failure to complete domain transfers
For .uk domains each transfer request is valid for 5 days. If the first request expires we will contact you and initiate a second request. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £50 + VAT for any further transfer requests to be initiated. If 3 or more transfer requests go uncompleted we also reserve the right to cancel the sale and refund the amount paid for the domain name (excluding any administration fees paid).
